The BMDL is partnering with Broken Plow to transform the Carnegie Science Center into a medieval village of epic proportions! There will be sword fighting – rattan fighting – fencing – arts and sciences – demos – a tavern – all surrounding the exhibits of the science center for a 21-and-over evening. When is this happening, you ask? SOON \u2013 VERY SOON:<\/p>\n
Friday March 2nd from 6-10pm!<\/strong><\/p>\n Facebook Event link ~~~ This is a great way to share The Known World with the great gentles of the Pittsburgh area. We need you! We need your talents \u2013 your skills \u2013 your smiling faces! He need heralds \u2013 we need game playing tavern patrons \u2013 we need fighters \u2013 fencers \u2013 artists \u2013 cooks – we need everyone to make the dream come alive!<\/p>\n Bring your looms \u2013 bring your spinning wheels \u2013 make a book \u2013 bring those pens and inks. Show off those banners \u2013 display a scroll \u2013 talk about your heraldry \u2013 your persona \u2013 your garb. Armor and weapons \u2013 do you have them? Are you working on some? Show them off \u2013 test them out? I would love to see gentles able to fight a Knight! Fencers \u2013 come one come all! We have space for you! Archers? Lets make an arrow \u2013 ready those bows. Are we preparing those thrown weapons \u2013 display them \u2013 talk about them \u2013 we will soon be out in the park again!
