In addition to online sewing, there are in-person sewing Saturdays in February with the goal of making basic Japanese garments. The garments are the full hakama pants or the same garment as a skirt. The other garment is a kosode. That is the predecessor to the modern kimono. It can be short or long. The next two Saturday sewing dates are 2\/18 and 2\/25.
