Brewers Guild Meeting / Field Trip on Thursday 4-9-2026

Hello Brewers and Friends,

We need to get some brew play days on the books if we are rolling out for Pennsic; Do we need bottling days for War Practice?

We can look at scheduled plan all grain days, plan bottling days, and we still need to do some sekanjabin / shrubs to round out our offerings!

Thursday 7 pm, there is a local brewer with some fruited sours over here called Fermata Brewing Company. They do NOT have food.

Please think about if you have the time / space to be a project leader and look at your schedule. I know we have Coronation and an Archery/Fencing Muster coming up. That last weekend of April is looking pretty choice!

Iron Comet A&S Competition and Display

Salve Accolens! Your Baronial A&S Champion issues forth the following challenge:

At this year’s Iris Festival, we will be hosting an A&S competition as part of the Iron Comet Challenge! Participation in the A&S competition is mandatory for a chance to win the coveted Iron Comet. While your blades ring true on the fencing and heavy lists, as bows loose and weapons fly on the archery and thrown ranges, our judges will assess your skills in the gentler arts.

Never participated in A&S before? Now’s your chance! We welcome competitors of all skill levels and will only be offering constructive feedback upon request. Documentation of project inspiration, methods, and materials can take the form of a one-page EZ-Doc form or a research paper. See link below for EZ-Doc forms.

To showcase our artisans, we will also be hosting a separate non-competitive display open to all attendees. All A&S entries for Iron Comet and the display will also be eligible for a separate populace choice award for an additional prize!
