Weekly Archery Practice Temporarily Relocated
Hi all from Niall!
Our usual space for weekly archery practice is currently infested with goats! Allegheny GoatScape is currently operating in the woods on the hillside where we set our archery targets, and will be there through at least the second week of October. As such, we will not be able to have our usual archery practice there.
But do not fret! We will still have archery practice this Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm. The archery range in North Park is open to the public and provides a nice wide open field for everyone to practice. The range is located at 852-872 Old Ingomar Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101 – this is near Moon Pavilion in North Park, if you wish to use that as a landmark for your GPS.

Sewing Circle Thurs. Sept 21st at 7:30pm
Third Thursday sewing resumes this Thursday September, 21st at 7:30. I will have a zoom session running. However, if you would prefer to come sew in person, you are welcome. The address is 1105 Shady Ave, Pittsburgh, 15232. Join us as you sew, iron, draft a pattern, cut fabric or just to hang out. If you are working on something feel free to talk about it. Per Godzimir the Golden, due to the high likelihood of rain occurring during our normal practice time, Archery Practice is cancelled for today.
In person sewing today 9/10 2-5pm
There will be in-person sewing today from 2-5pm at my house, 1105 Shady Ave, Pittsburgh 15232. My house is located up the hill from the martial practice site. Newcomers are welcome. I have a few sewing machines if you need to use one. You are also welcome to bring your own. There is also table space for pattern layout or fabric cutting. If you want to get started making medieval clothing, I can help with that. If you have questions, you can email sewing (at) debatablelands (dot) org.

Call for Letters – Office of the Seneschal
Good Populace,
I have served as your Seneschal for 4 years and my time draws to a close. We will need someone that is willing to serve as your Seneschal starting in December of 2023.
If you have an interest in keeping the Policy and Law of the Debatablelands, Æthelmearc, and the Society, overseeing the activities and events, encouraging the other Officers and in general being a helping hand to your fellow Debatablelanders; this is the job for you!
Please feel free to reach out to me or seek me at practices and events to ask questions. I will freely share all that I know and assist you in learning the job or just help you to understand the job.
