1. download /install the app; create an account; open & log in

4. Maybe restart the app?
5. if you still can’t hear things, look on the channel and see if there’s a thing to click on that says to authenticate the server

If you have ever been frustrated while trying to sew gores, this is the class for you. Our instructor Mistress Ts’vee’a bas Tseepora Levi will go over hand sewing and machine sewing instructions for sewing gores. This class is for anyone who wants to sew the perfect gore. Class will be online via zoom on Thursday, June 18th. If you have questions or if you would like to teach a garment and/or sewing class online, contact sewing at debatablelands dot org.

Online sewing, ironing, cutting, knitting, and/or braiding will be this Thursday June 4th from 7:30 – 10:00. There is no agenda, but the theme is “It ain’t necessarily sew”. Having fabric or fiber fun with friends is fabulous. Later in June there is a class about sewing gores. The details will follow shortly. I am also encouraging anyone who would like to teach a garb, sewing, or some other fabric or fiber class on zoom to contact me: sewing at debatablelands dot org.

Our screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail will be held on Saturday, June 6th, at 8PM. Many thanks to Ishiyama and Hara for helping to facilitate the screening.

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that Xerox (Zack), the son of Lady Vika Vyborgskaia (our MoL) and step-son of Master Jussi Laplein, passed away unexpectedly yesterday.
Xerox brought Vika and Jussi into the SCA at just 13 years old, as his birthday wish was to camp at Pennsic. As a boy, he was a youth fighter. At Pennsic, he camped with the House of the Blue Rose (Serenity Stone). Xerox a was good-hearted, loving, and caring man, and was an Organ Donor.
We offer our deepest condolences to his mother, Lady Vika, his step-father Master Jussi, and his friends and family.
Lady Vika has asked for time and space to grieve and process, and wishes it known that they have the support of close friends and family.
Due to the pandemic, there will not be a funeral or memorial service at this time. His family hopes to hold a service when they can. Currently, the family requests no flowers or gifts. However, if you would like to make a personal donation (non-SCA) to help cover his unexpected final costs, you can send donations directly to Vika via PayPal (ulvika@yahoo.com), or to her home address.
