Fight Practice March 17
Hello,
The forecast for this Sunday is temperatures in the mid-forties.
So we will be holding fight practice at the Pittsburgh Chinese Church this Sunday, March 17. Loaner armor will be available.

- Guys. Guys…. We are between the Jimmy Buffet fan club, the Ghostbusters cosplayers, and the Derby Brats – under 17 Roller Derbyers… doesn’t get much better than that.

- When the drunk folks shout a certain beer slogan at you and our whole float shouts back “DILLY DILLY!!” watch them… Lose. Their. Minds.
- Blowing kisses to the toddlers, and their sweet little faces staring in awe.
- The BALLISTA! Even better, watching the tipsy revelers freak out and duck when you swing it around to point at them!
- No one will ever cheer louder for you when you win your battle than a drunk Pittsburgher.
- Possible tipsy guest appearance by Svava’s mom!
- You don’t want your Baroness to be guarded solely by mercenary scum*… do you…?

Some Details:
- Meet in the strip district at 20th and Liberty between 9 -9:30am
(There’s actually quite a bit of parking in that area… There’s a bunch at 21st and Smallman, and look around 18th-21st streets, Penn Ave, and the side streets, Liberty will be closed. You’ll need to walk a couple blocks to the float) - Wear garb of course, but you can deck yourself out with green and shamrocks, too – we encourage it!
- Very family friendly. Every kid that has come with us has enjoyed themselves – and sometimes people throw candy!

A&S Updates!
The next Fiber Guild meeting is tomorrow, March 12 at Songbird Artistry at 7pm with a focus on Fiber Arts Library! Please contact Mistress Luceta DiCosimo for further information.
The next Brewers Guild meeting is Wednesday, March 13 at Spoonwood Brewing Company at 7pm with a tour of the brewery! Please contact Lady Alysoun of the Debatable Lands to RSVP or for further information!
Ishiyama Shonagon is seeking input on interest in reviving the Woodworking Guild within the barony. The primary purposes of the guild would be to help interested parties learn more about woodworking, and to facilitate project-based service to the Barony. Please contact him directly at ishiyama @ ee0r.com (remove the spaces!) as he is not on facebook.

Archery Sunday outside at Highland Park!
Archery is on for this Sunday! (March 10th)
It’s finally going to be for sure above 40°. And that means outdoor archery! 🤩 Join us as we tempt fatr with this seasonal weather at Highland Park 11am-2pm for some Archery. 🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹 Loaner equipment will be available, first come first served.

Youth practice 3/10 & Bear event 3/9
Hi everyone!!! There will be youth practice this Sunday March 10th at the Chinese church starting at 2pm. Hopefully we will be able to be outside if its warm enough.
Saturday is the Bear event up north. They will be having youth combat if you want more information please message me.

No Archery Practice
This Sunday we will be without official archery practice. Stay warm, and look forward to next weekend, and even better look forward to the Archery Muster Potluck at the castle.

Hi everyone! Its Jasmine, back brakes on my car are really bad and I can’t get it into the shop until Monday. I am trying my hardest to not to drive my car until then. Because of that, I am canceling practice tomorrow. See everyone on March 10th.
