Don’t forget! We’ll be holding both the Moon List (rapier) and Sun List (heavy) at practice this Sunday!

Timing is fluid, but rapier will be first (11:30 or noon-ish?) and heavy after (1:30-ish?).

We hope to see our fighters come our and vie for glory and practice for tourneys! And we hope to see our voice heralds and MOLs who’d like to get get some practice in as well! Time to shine like the sun and moon!

Practice runs from 11am to 3pm at Ace Axe throwing near the Waterfront. The actual practice announcements for that activity (with info you need about covid protocols!) will be announced by the marshals.

All persons attending will need to provide either proof of vaccination, or a negative covid test done within the prior 72 hours. All attendees must wear masks at all times while indoors regardless of vaccination status. This includes while fighting. As we have a very large inside winter fighting site, with very high ceilings, we have decided to start holding Stellar Tournaments again!

More details closer to the date, but mark your calendars for practice on Sunday, February 13th! We’ll be holding both the Sun List (heavy fighting) and Moon List (rapier fighting). All are welcome. A great opportunity for fighters, heralds, MoLs, and List runners to practice their tournament skills!

Practice occurs from 11am to 3pm. Sky List (Archery) will resume in the spring.

The Barony follows all SCA and Kingdom rules and protocols, including pandemic protocols. Please see practice announcements for details on that.

We acknowledge and celebrate that folks will make their own decisions about physical attendance at SCA activities during these uncertain times. The Stellar Tournaments will continue, so there will be other opportunities to participate beyond this one.

Greetings unto the noble populace of the Debatablelands, my term as MOL has come to an end and I am putting forth a call for letters. I am willing to serve another term as MOL if no interest comes forward. I am willing to train a replacement so if you have an interest in serving as the baronial MOL, please submit your letter of intent to Their Excellencies, Baron Brandubh and Baroness Hilderun and the Baronial Seneschal by March 2, 2022.
