The report of the Court of Praetoria Aurelia Argentia Prima and Baronessa Violeta da Valencia, ninth Baronage of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, held on the 12th day of July, Anno Societatis 61 at Martial Practice, as recorded by Oyama Shichi-i Michiharu, Comet Pursuivant.

With cleaner air and cooler temperatures, it was a remarkable day for martial activities. The sound of sharpened steel piercing targets could be heard across the fields. With copious amounts of practice completed, the Baronial Thrown Weapons championship was held. 8 competitors competed across a multitude of forms and targets to decide who would represent the Barony at Seven Pearls and Pennsic.

After witnessing such displays of skill and dexterity, Their Excellencies opened a short court. Baronessa Violeta and Praetoria Prima praised the accuracy and deadly precision of our throwers, having enjoyed their front row seats to the competition.

With that, Their Excellencies invited Master Kumagaya Kentarou Masamoto, the former Baronial Champion, to speak on the results. After a short rundown of the tournament format and the competitors, Lord Joshua of the Debatable Lands was invited up. Their Excellencies spoke with him, asking him to represent them for the next year. Lord Joshua was presented with a scroll illuminated by Lady Eliza Allison, with wordsmithing and calligraphy by Kuria Odessa.

Additionally, Their Excellencies requested the presence of Noble Melodia Beaupel to ensure that they would accept the mantle of second for thrown weapons.

There being no further business at this time, the court of Their Excellencies was closed.
