Reminder that we will be holding the next Sky List Stellar Tournament during our regular weekly archery practice tomorrow.
The qualifier will be shot on the auxiliary line throughout the normal practice, with the final taking place at 1:30 pm.
Everyone is invited to participate – the Stellar Tournaments were set up as a way to allow people of all skill levels to experience martial tournament formats. The Sky List is usually held monthly, with the winner choosing the format of the next tournament – winners are allowed to defend the title up to three times in a row.
Also, Thrown Weapons practice is cancelled for tomorrow.
Tomorrow, martial practices resume at Highland Park, with fencing running from noon to 4ish as usual. Look forward to September for the return of our monthly melee and C&T practices.
With Pennsic LII in our rear-view, martial practices will resume tomorrow, Sunday, August 17th, with archery practices beginning at 11:30 am at our regular site on Washington Blvd. in Highland Park.
Next Sunday, August 24th, current Stellar Champion Skjoldr Bjorn will be running our next Sky List tournament.

Tonight, Wednesday August 12, we are having our bimonthly business meeting, off schedule due to Pennsic. Here is the Agenda. We have received bids for 12th Night here, and for a new winter A&S event here. We are expecting a third bid, for 60 year, from Gesa as well.

This coming Sunday we will hold fencing practice at the Garb Swap! Practice will start at noon, as usual, and run until 4ish.
Starting around 2pm, we will hold a practice Pennsic Novice Tournament to help all our eligible fencers prepare! Those no longer eligible for the novice tourney are encouraged to participate under their favorite novice persona.

The weather looks like it’s going to cooperate tomorrow, so archery practice at the Washington Blvd. site is a go. I unfortunately will be unable to stay to marshal, so Tofi will be running practice in my absence.
We will also be having our next Sky List Stellar Tournament tomorrow – Edward Mercier is the defending champion, and has a challenging shoot planned.
Reminder that we will not have archery practice next Sunday, July 6th, due to Garb Swap at the Avalon shelter in North Park. Watch the blog and the Facebook page for more information.
Reminder that the baronial archery and thrown weapons champion tournaments will be held tomorrow during our regular martial practice.
The thrown weapons tournament will start at 1:00 pm.
Archery qualifiers will run from the start of practice until 1:00 pm, and the final will commence following the thrown weapons tournament, around 1:30 pm.
Additional reminder that there is one obligation to stand as baronial champion: you are required to represent the barony at the Seven Pearls event in late August and compete in the Seven Pearls Inter-Baronial Championship for bragging rights against the other Aethelmearc Baronial Champions. You will also be eligible to compete in the Knowne World Baronial Championship Tournaments at Pennsic.
The weather may be damp tomorrow, so prepare accordingly.
